Appetizer
Where on your body do you have a scar, and what caused it?

A scar? I have a lot!!! But I only tell you bout my two "main" scars and one really funny one.

In 1994 I broke my right ellbow during a youth holiday it had to be fixed by surgery I had it in plaster for about 4 weeks. Luckily the plaster was made of synthetic material so it wasn't to heavy. But the mean thing bout that was: It was midsummer. Hot. And the plaster was from my fingers to upper arm. I looked like an walking "L". Not very funny. I was really unhappy for that all my friends could go swimming and I had to stay outside the water.

In 2003 I felt down stairs at my dad's home coz I wore flip-flops and slipped. I broke my left ankle and had a surgery. The bones had to be fixed with five screws and a little sheet. That was the first really really bad injury I had. I had to stay in hospital for one and a half week. After that I wasn't allowed to put any weight on my left leg for 7 weeks. I had to walk on crutches.
A year later I had to get the screws taken out so I had to stay another week in hospital. But that week wasn't that bad as the one after the accident: I knew Mr. C already! He visited me every day and we phoned each other every night. That's how I like it if I HAVE to stay in hospital....

Now the funny one:
I have a tiny little scar on my forehead. When I was about 5 or six we were on a party at our neighbours. My friend Mark and I didn't like the food that was served. So Mark went upstairs and asked his mommy if she's got something more yummy for us to eat. I waited downstairs. After some minutes Mark bent over the stair-rail and called me. So I looked up and he asked me if I like to eat some canned Ravioli and showed me the can. Suddenly he lost grip and I saw the can falling down right into my direction. And instead of stepping beside I stood there like petrified.
Guess what happened.
Yes. I "caught" the canned Ravioli with my forehead. OUCH!!!
Party was over for my parents. They rushed with me to our paediatrician to get me examined. I wasn't badly hurt. Just a laceration that was bleeding like hell (but that's always when you hurt your head isn't it?). So the doc cleaned it and taped it with a plaster that looked like Sellotape.
After a few days everything was fine again.
I think that's really a funny story bout a little scar that I sure still tell my grandchildren some day.
And, by the way, it's a good excuse for everything (and everyone who calls me stupid): "Hey, I can't help it!!! I got attacked by canned ravioli when I was little!".... *wink*

I have some more smaller scars but there are no (more or less) interesting stories to tell about. I get hurt nearly every week. Like cut my finger, bump my head, a.s.o.
I'm a little clumsy fellow sometimes...
But hey, I can't help it!!!! I got attacked by canned ravioli!!!! *LOL*

Soup
What is something that has happened to you that you would consider a miracle?
I know that sounds very kitschy but it's true:
I consider it as a miracle that I met Mr. C and he's still by my side.

Salad
Name a television personality who really gets on your nerves.
There's no one that comes to my mind. There are some German Anchormen I don't like. But they present some shows we don't watch so I don't mind.

Main Course
What was a funny word you said as a child (such as "pasketti" for "spaghetti")?
For that I'm German, I can't tell you an english word. But I mixed up the german word for balloon. The german word is "Luftballon" and I called it "Luffabon". And I called my Cousin "Ickemel" instead of "Michael".

Dessert
Fill in the blank:I have always thought answering the friday's feast dessert was easy to do. (Sorry, but I really couldn't think of anything else!!!)

Okay, that's all for today. Wow, that was long!!! I hope you had fun. Please don't forget to leave a comment.
Hugs to all of you, have a nice Friday evening,
