>>>Thursday Thirteen #12<<<

Want to play along? Click here.

Okay, I think I’ve got to explain why I choose this week’s theme.

As I told you yesterday in comments, I’m a bit frustrated. I didn’t lose much weight last week. I knew that this point will come when I started my Weight Watchers®. I’m now in my fourth week of Weight Loss. I’ve already lost 8 pounds and I’m quite happy bout that. Nevertheless, I was really unhappy when I was on my scale last Monday and it showed that I’ve only lost about a half pound. I was so much afraid of this point coz last time I did WW and came to that point I gave up. That was because I didn’t have much support last time and no one was there who told me “Hey c’mon gal, don’t give up! Move ya ass!!!”. But not this time. Mr. C just gave me a big hug and told me not to give up, keep on my plan and do some more exercises. That helped a lot. But the last bit of Motivation I got yesterday when I logged into blogger and read the comments on my Wordless Wednesday. Some of them where really heart-warming and gave me the last bit I needed for not giving up.

So today I wanna thank all my blogging friends for their support with showing you

13 (out of dozens) comments that really helped me (staying motivated) through my weight loss so far

  1. Sonny, some weeks are better then others. Try not to let it get you down. I've had weeks were I lost more then others, yet I was doing the same thing.
    Biker Betty

  2. Aw Sonny, this picture makes me want to give you a big ole hug.

Hang in there, honey. Things will taper off but will pick up again if you stick with it!
    Karen

  3. Don't get discouraged with the weight loss slower is better. If you loose it too quick, it will just come back....you don't want that!
    Judie and Elise

  4. You go, Sonny! Your body will "level" off and it will take a bit more time to loase each pound from now on. Don't worry, you've got a fab routine and you can only go forward with progress!
    Feline Frisky

  5. If you want me I can give you a click every hour! and at the end of the month, nothing is left of you ! Don't become anorexic, lol, I don't like walking skeletons.

So, and now, run 3 times around the blog (ck)

Here's my comment! Exercise some for me! You don't want my weight loss plan, hehe, I got morning sickness for 22 weeks! I look way better now than I did before I got pregnant, but man, it was really awful puking 24/7 for 22 weeks! But at least I got a sweet baby out of it, too.

What an encouraging TT!

What's a Meet 'n' Greet?

Congrats on sticking to your healthy lifestyle. You're an inspiration to me!

You're so right, Sonny...you can't lose weight successfully without that positive support and reinforcement! You're doing great. I am also on Weight Watchers and think it's the greatest.

Last week, our instructor compared the weight loss journey to a football game. Although you may be all over the field and even lose yardage, you never lose sight of the goal! That really helped me.

Great TT! I'm a lifer at Weight Watchers and the last time I lost 20 pounds it took me 6 months to do it. Sometimes it just takes time. If you plateau, you need to do 2 things. Decrease what you are eating or increase the amount of exercise. With the exercise, increase the amount of time you have your heart rate increased not so much the amount of time you actually exercise. If you use a treadmill increase the incline. The weight will come off, I promise you that. I am a serial dieter. I swear I've been dieting all my life. Don't give up girl. You can do this. 8 pounds is great! I've been dieting (again) since Jan. 1 and I've only lost 5 pounds (you can see my tracker at my boring weight loss blog at www.momsquietplace.blogspot.com).

I tried to comment earlier but his computer and I are not compatible today. . This was an awesome TT. . letting us all know how much you appreciate our comments. I have people on a website reminding me to walk my stairs occasionally. It does make a difference. So, Go exercise, it makes the world a better place because we become healthier, and I will do the same this morning.

Hello one of my favorite TTers! Don't get discouraged -- some of your exercise involves lifting weights, right? (Right? Because our bodies need the weight so we don't get osteoporosis when we're older)

Muscle weighs more than fat.

Focus on how your clothes fit. How you're eating. And then up the intensity at the gym.

You can do it. Hang in there.

I love the idea of noting those who have helped you with comments. I know it's hard...pressing through those plateaus is half the battle.

You CAN do it...keep pressing on.

Thanks for stopping by my TT!!

:-) Susan
